If you are already a user of a previous version of the Household Accounting Book (e.g. Version 4.0) you will be especially interested in the following information.
The following list presents the most important advancements and new features:
- You can easily carry over your current data into the new version. Please click here for a detailed description. If this still leaves any questions to answer, please contact us directly via www.euchler-software.de.
- With version 5.0 you can carry over your income and fix expenses into the following months. To do so, only the corresponding checkbox in "Tools" - "Options" - "General" must be marked. Further information about the handling of this automatism can be found here
- From now on you can export and import your data as *.csv files. The exported files can be opened and edited with spreadsheets e.g. MS-Excel.
- The timeframe for the printout and the graphical evaluation of your data can be chosen arbitrarily with the new version.
- In addition to the graphic evaluation of the main categories it is from now on possible to evaluate the sub categories also.
- The shopping list contains a memory function now. This means that after you entered the list for the first time and ordered the items according to the sequence you find them in your supermarket), the list saves the sequence and puts the items automatically in the right position the next time you create a shopping list.
...most of these improvements are the result of a huge number of suggestions we got from our users. Thanks to all of you who provided us with valuable feedback.
